About Tahier Nanabhay
I am a supply chain professional with 30 years’ experience. Till February 2015, I spent 3 years in the Asia Pacific markets based in Singapore. Prior to APAC, I spent 13 years in Europe based in Amsterdam. My supply chain experience started in South Africa where I worked for 12 years mainly at Philips consumer Electronics where I was then promoted to a more challenging role in Amsterdam. My Roles have ranged from line management through to Director.I learnt and developed multiple skills in working across continents, countries and local borders. I have led and project managed the implementation of SAP, i2 Advance planning solutions, Oracle Demantra advance planning tool, Freight Management systems and KPI dashboards across multiple countries and multiple business units. I have led the SCM training and development of Key account managers, Sales Directors, Demand planners, Supply chain managers, Chief Operating officers and Air & Ocean controllers and their leaders. I also developed core processes like the monthly weekly forecasting in Philips and Consolidated forecast process for LG. I have managed and controlled the planning of my teams, including supply planning with factories and vendors. In recent years I have also been a part of the change and transformation of my company’s reorganization processes. I am a leader and a self-starter with the flexibility and ability to multi task and work across diverse environments and markets across the globe. I am passionate about responsibility and delivery. I believe strongly in team work, collaboration and motivation of team members to ensure consistency and success
