The idea came about when i was buying art through an auction site and was struggling to the verify authenticity of the piece I was interested in.

The product has thousands of use cases and is long overdue in fight against counterfeit goods. It makes counterfeiting a product that uses GDP impossible. Find out the orgin, authenticity and ownership of any product in seconds.

When it comes to goods like piece of art, watch or phone consumers want product to be genuine and not stolen. Iain and Paul have a great idea of how both manufacturer and consumer could be protected from counterfeit.

PROS:

  • The platform increases the buyer’s confidence on the origin  and authenticity of the product that they purchase with full proof on blockchain hence preventing them from undergoing losses of  buying counterfeit goods
  • The platform enables the consumers to sell their products as they are able to reassure the clients ownership of the products making them sell the products at the right prices
  • The platform enables the users products to be seamlessly insured  upon registration as the owner  hence guarantying compensation in case of any loss
  • The platform enables manufacturers  and their agents to register the products quickly and easily via a secure Application Program Interface (API) whereby  allowing the authorized agents to issue the GDPs on behalf of the producers
  • The platform helps the consumers to securely store their products   and also keep track of their collective value  using the online wallet
  • The platform has a credible team with the right skills and experience that is necessary for the project prosperity as the CEO Ian Williams  and  Paul Williams are great entrepreneurs with a good track record of delivering high value projects and Fin Tech startups

  • The platform is missing the project  advisors
  • The GDP tokens doesn’t grant the holders shares, royalties an rights to the dividends and profits generated by the project
  • The platform token use is restricted in some countries especially the United States

SUGGESTIONS:

  • The platform team should involve advisors to help in guiding the project progress
  • The platform white paper should be established in many other languages to enable the extensive understanding and use of the project in all countries
  • The GDP token use should provide more incentives to the holders by enabling them to have a share of the project’s profits generated

The platform is very important as it use significantly reduces the production of counterfeit goods enabling the consumers to deeply understand the products they purchase. I would therefore highly invest in this project as it has a projected high returns.
