Tentang WIRED

WIRED was founded in 1993 in San Francisco by Louis Rosetto and Jane Metcalf. From the start, the magazine aimed to be "the voice of the digital revolution," covering how technology is transforming society, the economy, and culture.

The magazine is known for its in-depth analytical articles covering a wide range of topics, from artificial intelligence and cybersecurity to design, science, and politics. WIRED also coined the term "crowdsourcing" and publishes the "Vaporware Awards" each year, satirizing products that were announced but never made it to market.

WIRED's print and online editions had separate owners from 1998 to 2006, but were merged under the Condé Nast umbrella in 2006. Since then, WIRED has continued to evolve in both print and digital formats, offering readers quality content and innovative design.

In 2024, the magazine switched to a bi-monthly publication schedule, releasing six issues per year. WIRED also has international editions, including WIRED UK, WIRED Italia, WIRED Japan, and WIRED Germany.

Today, WIRED remains an authoritative source of information about technology and its impact on society, continuing to inspire readers to understand and embrace the future.
