Rob Masri

Rob Masri is a startup attorney and entrepreneur in Charlottesville with far-reaching legal, finance, and business experience. He advises companies in all phases of the life cycle, from startup to market fit, to pre-venture guidance, IP protection, scale, maturity and exit strategies. Rob also counsels clients in contract negotiation, licensing, joint ventures, corporate governance, and mergers and acquisitions. He has started several businesses, including a mobile marketing company with a focus on developing customer loyalty. He has also served as Chief Development Officer for the University of Virginia Law School Foundation and as an EVP/General Counsel for a provider of online communication software and an on-demand, gig economy mobile marketplace. As an adjunct professor at the University of Virginia School of Law, Rob teaches the Entrepreneurial Law Clinic and co-teaches Legal Practice and the Start-Up Company: An Inside Look and Law and Finance of Venture-Capital Backed Firms.
