Ipê Village 2026 is a one-month immersive pop-up city and social experiment taking place in Jurerê Internacional, Florianópolis, Brazil, from April 6 to May 1, 2026. Organized by Ipê City, this event brings together hundreds of builders, creators, technologists, and global innovators to co-live, co-work, and prototype what an Internet-native city — powered by AI, crypto, and decentralized systems — could look like in the real world.
Over the course of four weeks, participants engage in hacker houses, buildathons, workshops, talks, and community-driven projects that explore new models of governance, identity, marketplaces, coordination tools, and public-service infrastructure. Living and working alongside peers from around the world, residents experiment with real digital systems — from on-chain credentials and crypto passports to AI-assisted coordination and decentralized governance frameworks — inside a living laboratory setting.
The event is designed to function as both a collaborative buildathon and a cultural gathering, where builders can test ideas, form teams, and pursue long-term projects while receiving access to community resources, grants, token incentives, and exposure to partners and supporters of the movement. As one of the largest real-world explorations of techno-optimistic urban prototyping, Ipê Village 2026 reflects a shared ambition to rethink how cities, governance, and digital infrastructure can be built for the next era.
