What is The Standard Protocol?

The Standard Protocol is a decentralized finance (DeFi) infrastructure project that enables users to generate stable cryptocurrencies by utilizing asset-backed loans without intermediaries. The protocol focuses on physical and crypto-assets as collateral and will be entirely managed by the community of Standard Token holders.

The Standard Euro

S-EURO is the world’s first algorithmic stable coin that is backed by fungible assets and soft pegged to the Euro.

It is generated by leveraging a variety of fungible assets as collateral in a smart contract.

The Standard DAO

A decentralized autonomous organization responsible for governing and growing the ecosystem. Making key decisions using smart voting mechanisms and prediction markets.

The Standard Token

Standard Token holders can participate in the governance system of the Standard Protocol. Standard Token holders benefits are:

As a team member, сan you tell us about your role in the ICO project?
I'm one of the Co-Founders of The Standard Protocol. I have been working in crypto since 2010 and have run a crypto exchange called Vaultoro with the other co-founders since 2015. Vaultoro has never been hacked and so we know what we are doing. The Standard is a Next Generation of decentralized Stable assets.

The Standard will enable people to lock up crypto and physical assets like gold (in participating vaulting facilities) and generate up to 85% of that value in stable assets. Stable assets will start with sEURO (Standard Euro) but the goal is to mire every single fiat on earth as well as commodities and even stocks.

We don't have to wait for governments to create a gold standard. People can voluntarily create their own by locking up rare assets and generating fiat pegged debt against their holdings. All this while controlling the private keys to their own assets.
What do you think about idea?
The Standard, one of the most important DeFi 2.0 infrastructure projects in to date. Yes we don't have a dog on the coin but we are a very serious project with a large scope.

With over 5 year experience in charge of operations for a crypto exchange my role at TheStandard.io is to make sure we are on track with the planning, create processes and make sure deals are made with our partners.
What do you think about idea?
TheStandard.io will allow people to mint their own asset back stable coins, granting them financial independence. I think a algorithmic stable coins are the solution to many of the current issues of the stable coins and the market, and we will be able see the impact of TheStandard.io can make on real people's lives really soon.

As a Junior Business Development Manager, I help to create and implement business strategies, analyze opportunities, and build strategic partnerships for TheStandard.io.
What do you think about idea?
TheStandard.io aims to solve inflation, which has not been achieved by any other. I am grateful to be part of this big mission.
