SENSO is the in-platform currency of Sensorium Galaxy. All value transactions within this alternate universe are made through SENSO, which can be purchased on the Sensorium Galaxy website and/or exchanged in some of the world’s top cryptocurrency exchanges.
SENSO was born from the need to make our vast virtual worlds fair environments for participants, giving them back control over their funds and ownership rights on all their digital assets.
The token is used for all in-platform payments within the metaverse and as a tool that boosts user creativity via non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
With SENSO, every participant can create copyright-protected content, distribute, and monetize it seamlessly in an open marketplace. They can also count on their SENSO stake to engage in critical product level decisions, thanks to a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO).

SENSO is developed on top of the Ethereum blockchain using the broadly-accepted ERC-20 standard. The token is expected to migrate to a new Substrate-based network.
The original smart contract was launched in September 2019 with a total market capitalization of 7.6B tokens. Yet, only 5.9 billion tokens have been minted so far.
In 2021, SENSO has undergone a major restructuring, expanding use cases for the token in relation with the Sensorium Galaxy metaverse. Overall, this resulted in a sizeable token burn that left the market cap at 1.7B tokens.
As blockchain-based currency, users can get hold of SENSO through the open market on renowned cryptocurrency exchanges. SENSO is initially accepted at a rate of ~$10 (U.S. dollars) when deposited on Sensorium Galaxy account balances.
