BlockSplit - conference for blockchain business & developers

11 avril 2018 RETOUR AUX COMMUNIQUÉS DE PRESSE

Many familiar names from blockchain world coming to BlockSplit conference

The BlockSplit conference, organized by Blockchain HUB Split, is held from 27 to 28 April 2018 at the Faculty of Economics in Split, Croatia. The conference represents a unique opportunity for all developers and entrepreneurs who want to work in blockchain technology in the future, but also wish to launch their own projects. The list of international speakers, all of whom are eminent experts in the field of blockchain, is a proof of the high-quality standards the conference has set.

The conference program consists of 2 days: the first day is reserved for workshops, while the second day is reserved for presentations. The first day consists of developers and business workshops lasting for 8 hours, while in the evening there will be organized Barbecue Beach Party at Hotel Split which is an excellent opportunity for networking. As for the developer's workshops, you can choose between Building a DAO (Mislav Javor / Ampnet), Setting up an ICO (Bruno Škvorc / Bitfalls), Atomic swaps, Ox and DEXes (Sulejman Sarajlija / Altcoin) and Building state channels for microtransactions (Admir Šabanović / Altcoin). But, if you want to participate in business workshops, you can choose between the following two options: Implementing blockchain technology in business (Luka Klancir / Async Labs) or A practical introduction to game theory for blockchain (Clement Lesaege / Kleros).
The second day of the conference consists of presentations divided into 2 tracks: Development Talk and Business Talk. Each of the participants can change the track depending on their own preferences. Maybe one of the most powerful names on development talk, and generally at the conference, is Peter Todd (Bitcoin Core Developer) with a presentation: What blockchains actually do. In addition to that, Simon Belak (Metabase) will deliver a presentation about smart deals, Paul Janowitz (Monero) will talk about privacy in open ledger, while Arthur Lunn (Giveth) about developing open software. As for Business Talk Track, Vasja Bočko (Iryo Network) will share his experience on project funding, Sonja Prstec (Bitnation) will talk about legal issues, and Sandra Ro (UWINCorp) about blockchain for social good. Also, Alvaro Rodriguez (Bitboost) will deliver a presentation about business models design for blockchain, while Piotr Misiurek (Ragnarson) will share his knowledge about token models. We would like to point out that here is listed just a small part of presentations and speakers, while the complete list, as well as more detailed information about presentations and workshops, you can check out on our website http://blocksplit.io.
