About Rhett Mcnulty

Started my career in technology and software in 1997. Saw the launch of, one of the internet’s first “big box” retailers, shopping.com, grow from 0 - 72 employees in under two years. Ultimately, we sold to Compaq Computers [HPQ] in 1999 - the property is owned by eBay today. Staying in a similar arena, I Co-founded Shopit.com in 2006 with a team member from Shopping.com to become an early entrant in the social ecommerce space. By 2008 Shopit was the largest ecommerce application leveraging the Facebook API and app platform with over 800,000 storefronts. The company was sold to Atrinsic [ATRN] in 2009. I have started and operated other companies in FinTech (Prepaid Underbanked & Remittance), MedTech, Direct Response (Infomercials) as well as a plethora of consumer facing web and mobile applications.

I've been described as a self starter, determined, quality team builder, moral booster, experienced and friendly.

Areas I’m knowledgeable in: retail ecommerce (buying, merchandising & logistics), comparison shopping, peer-to-peer commerce, FinTech, MedTech, programmatic ad buying, user acquisition, facebook advertising, facebook API, mobile, youtube multi-channel networks, consumer internet, product development, influencer marketing, consumer marketing, direct response marketing, monetization, business strategy, identifying market opportunities and start-ups.

Outside of work I am passionate about the ocean, water-based therapy (Co-founder of OceansGlobal.org), addiction recovery and education.

Things I’m currently researching; Programmatic ad buying, Facebook API, Blockchain, Machine Learning and automation.
