The Blockchain Compliance Foundation is an open-source, nonprofit project organized as a foundation under the laws of Delaware to ensure that clear and appropriate standards and best practices for fundraising activities in the cryptocurrency and blockchain technology space are established and adopted by stakeholders in order to further the long-term success of the blockchain ecosystem.
The directors, advisors and members of the Blockchain Compliance Foundation are individuals and companies working in the blockchain industry and other interested parties who aim to work collectively to help shape and protect the blockchain ecosystem through a number of initiatives including but not limited to educating the public via an interactive website with content on regulations and best practices; creation and maintenance of an assessment system for initial coin offerings; and release of an online, automated smart-contract driven guidance, ratings, crowd-sourced analysis, and reputational scoring system, driven in part through the application of specialized prediction markets.
We anticipate these initiatives will evolve as we continue building a robust engagement with respected, knowledgeable participants who will help refine and solidify the Blockchain Compliance Foundation’s future goals and jointly determine our highest priorities for the blockchain ecosystem.
