Sur Block Array

The problems Block Array is solving

Provenance information: through our chain of custody system we can show where goods came from, using industry standards adapted for the blockchain.

Contextual Information: Even if all the provenance information (where goods came from) was available, how would consumers find this information? With our XONS protocol we can turn any barcode into a web page, enabling consumers to find out the information about that specific product, even things like warranties, user manuals, discounts, product recalls can be posted on these pages. Instead of having to search online, you just scan the items barcode and get all relevant information, and that information is supplied by and authenticated by the company themselves.

Unused Shipping Capacity: Truck drivers get paid for the cargo they move, and with our ELD integration we can provide an easy access point for drivers and suppliers to be connected, bypassing the traditional brokerage system in overland freight.

GS1 Barcodes: GS1 is a non-profit in charge of the dominant barcode standard across the world. With our own GS1 prefix we will be issuing barcodes on the blockchain that will be 50% cheaper. GS1 membership is necessary for access to data for barcodes.

Counterfeit Goods: With our dual-layer QR Codes, we can use encryption schemes such as an Ethereum wallet or PGP to encode transactional information to prevent counterfeit goods being sold as legitimate goods.

Protocols

XONS - eXtensible Object Name Service: a protocol that implements lazy binding of strings to data, in order to support dynamically configured delegation and federated systems (both blockchain and "legacy"). XONS functions by mapping some unique string to data stored within a database by iteratively applying string transformation rules until a terminal condition is reached.

XONS enables consumers to find information about a product, such as a manual or recall notices, through the point of contact (barcodes, RFID, etc)

BDI - Blockchain data Interchange, translating transactions into EPCIS-like events based on defined user permissions that are created in its SaaS, Visual SmartContracts. EPCIS is a standard for creating and sharing visibility event data, both within and across businesses, to enable users to gain a shared view of physical or digital objects within a relevant business context. EPCIS events are categorized in the context of where, when, what, and why.

Infrastructure

Blockarray.io - quickBlocks RPC nodes for software licensing and smart contract monitoring, along with data anchoring through Chainpoint/Tierion Private Nodes for chain of custody proofs along with anchoring Electronic Logging Device data (ELD) to the bitcoin and Ethereum blockchain.

Dual-Layer QR Codes: By encoding and masking additional information using the Reed-Solomon Error Correction Coding, we can provide a mechanism by which our QR Code scanning library can authenticate legitimate items vs. counterfeit goods.

Applications

Badger: a consumer application that uses XONS to find product information and display a centralized page that contains relevant information

Enterprise Mobile Application: a mobile application that allows permission-based users to effect changes to the web page that normal users (e.g. consumers) can see. for example: work orders done on a MRI machine can be finalized through the application, then a doctor can come and scan on their phone to see the work history for that machine, software, firmware updates, etc.

Visual SmartContracts: A SaaS to enroll and define user permissions for use with XONS and BDI. Document aggregation, permissions, Active Directory support and more are controlled here.

Virtualized Grey-Pool Exchange: An exchange to connect drivers with unused shipping capacity and suppliers with the need of shipping additional overland freight.
