We are creating a comprehensive money transfer solution that includes a wallet, a web app, mobile apps, and a robust back office with a suite of reports for compliance and monitoring purposes, avilable to MTOs on a PaaS model, free of charge for the first year and at nominal costs in subsequent years.
At the heart of ZED Network is ZED token which is built on Stellar's mining-free, distributed ledger.
In the same manner that SWIFT connects banks together on a global basis, ZED Network will seamlessly connect licensed MTOs in multiple countries to become a single point of integration for multiple currency pairs.
Some of the features of ZED Platform include:
ZED transactions require no mining and cost only 1%
ZED transactions are settled with MTO partners across the globe within 3-5 seconds.
ZED transactions are saved on a verifiable and immutable public distributed ledger
ZED Network connects Money Transfer Operators to partners around the world, providing instant global reach.
ZED transactions allow for the secure transfer of data with each payment, eliminating traditional reconciliation headaches.
ZED is an all-in-one digital solution for MTOs including state of the art Web and Mobile Apps, a robust Back-Office & comprehensive built-in KYC/AML Reporting.
ZED token is built on top of Stellar platform with connectivity to BTC and ETH methods of payment.
ZED Network interacts with the Stellar network through Horizon, a RESTful HTTP API server. Horizon provides us a straightforward way to submit transactions, check accounts, and subscribe to events.
Behind the scenes, ZED Network connects to Stellar Core, the backbone of the Stellar network. The Stellar Core software does the hard work of validating and agreeing with other instances of Core on the status of every transaction through the Stellar Consensus Protocol (SCP). The Stellar network itself is a collection of connected Stellar Cores run by various individuals and entities around the world. Some instances have a Horizon server we can communicate with, while others exist only to add reliability to the overall network.
We plan to host our own instance of Stellar Core in order to submit transactions without depending on a third party, have more control over who to trust, validate identity of the ZED coin holder and simply to help make the Stellar network more reliable and robust for others.
The Stellar network is a worldwide collection of Stellar Cores, each maintained by different people and organizations. The distributed nature of the network makes it reliable and safe.
