Wing Finance is a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform that integrates credit-based lending with cross-chain interoperability. Built on the Ontology blockchain, Wing aims to address the over-collateralization issue prevalent in traditional DeFi lending by introducing a credit evaluation system known as OScore. This system assesses users' lending and borrowing histories, allowing for reduced collateral requirements and fostering a more inclusive lending environment.

The platform operates through various pools:

  • Flash Pool: A cross-chain lending pool supporting assets from multiple blockchains.

  • NFT Pool: Allows users to collateralize non-fungible tokens (NFTs) for borrowing.

  • Peer-to-Peer Pool: Facilitates direct lending and borrowing between users.

  • Inclusive Pool: Targets users with verified identities, offering lower collateral requirements.

Each pool is governed by the Wing DAO, ensuring decentralized decision-making and community involvement in the platform's development and operations.

Wing Finance also features a native governance token, WING, which grants holders voting rights on proposals and decisions within the DAO. Additionally, WING tokens are used to incentivize liquidity providers and participants across the platform's pools.

By combining traditional credit mechanisms with blockchain technology, Wing Finance seeks to create a more accessible and efficient DeFi lending ecosystem, bridging the gap between traditional finance and decentralized finance.
