The year is 2022. On an unusually cold and stormy July night, 8888 drops fall from the sky. The drops turn into heroes, basking in the nostalgic neon lights of the back alleys of Tokyo.
They gather at the Ajito, a blacksmith's shop and soon to be their hideout. The Blacksmith is forging a new kind of tool--a tool to turn the heroes into masters of disguise, able to adapt to any situation. With the first strike he creates his alter ego Bunshin, who will guide the heroes in their mission. The heroes' mission is one and only: to give power back to the people in an unreasonable world centrally controlled by a foolish, selfish few.
