PLDGR.org aims to introduce the PLDGR Fundraiser and Donation Platform to the non-profit community. It provides an ecosystem for pledges through a smart and simple interface, connecting the community and combining security, efficiency, ease of use, and the full transparency of Blockchain. Built on the Ethereum Blockchain, PLDGR.org helps social organisations to run projects transparently, using Smart Contracts to ensure their impact is independently verified and accessible to everyone. The network effects of social media to significantly improve, yet simplify the process of online giving and the adoption of cryptocurrencies is set to create a positive impact on the way people donate online in the future.
With PLDGR.org, donating would be as easy as tweeting or posting and commenting on any social media platform. The PLDGR platform is equipped with the ability to automatically scan hashtags and trending issues on Twitter and Instagram, and via a Facebook application to look for people who are inclined to donate for a charity or cause. PLDGR.org will then communicate to possible donors through an automated message and introduce its own token called “DN8” (Donate) as the currency for the donation. New users will then be directed to a one-time registration process with a link for signing up and acquiring DN8 tokens. On the other hand, existing donors in the PLDGR database will be given a One-Time-Pin through SMS or its mobile app to confirm and proceed with another donation.
PLDGR platform will enable Non-Profit Organizations to fully utilize their Social Media channels in spreading awareness about charity events, and identifying potential donors. This is done through a proprietary Hashtag and Trend Monitoring System that will be implemented in the platform.
Built on the Ethereum blockchain, the PLDGR platform helps social organisations to run projects transparently, using a Distributed Ledger and Smart Contracts to ensure their impact is independently verified and accessible to everyone.
The PLDGR platform ensures that all donated funds are successfully distributed and allocated to the intended recipients. Aside from utilizing our ERC20 token, DN8, to track fund movements, the platform will also require Non-Profit Organizations to submit multimedia reports before 100% withdrawal of the donated funds is allowed.
