Piggycell, an IoT-based blockchain Real-World Asset (RWA) project, has recently secured investment from the global mainnet Internet Computer (ICP) and has been accepted into the prestigious ICP Olympus accelerator program. This strategic move marks a significant milestone in Piggycell's journey towards revolutionizing the blockchain landscape.

Piggycell is a pioneering blockchain platform that integrates IoT technology, enabling users to participate in a unique Charge To Earn (C2E) model while charging their batteries. The platform is decentralized and is connected to South Korea's leading power bank sharing service, Piggycell, which boasts over 3 million users. This innovative approach not only provides practical utility but also incentivizes users, driving mass adoption of blockchain technology.

Announced in April 2024, the ICP Olympus program is an accelerator initiative designed to nurture promising projects within the ICP ecosystem. The program is operated by the DFINITY Foundation in Switzerland and supports projects in achieving substantial growth and development. As of June 23, 2024, ICP is ranked 24th on CoinMarketCap.

The ICP Olympus program brings together top-tier investors and mentors, including Fenbushi Capital, Softbank Vision Fund, and Cypher Capital. These industry leaders provide financial backing and strategic guidance, helping projects evolve into high-quality, large-scale endeavors.
