The worlds of sportswear and Web3 collide as Adidas, the renowned sportswear giant, announces a strategic collaboration with Stepn, a Solana-based move-to-earn app. This innovative partnership promises to revolutionize fitness rewards by offering a unique blend of digital and physical experiences for both fitness enthusiasts and crypto natives.

The collaboration kicks off with the launch of the "Stepn x Adidas Genesis Sneakers," a limited-edition Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) collection inspired by Adidas' iconic running silhouettes. Comprising 1,000 NFTs, this collection marks the beginning of a year-long partnership, with further NFT drops and physical wearable items planned throughout the collaboration.

Scheduled to launch on April 17, 2024, through Stepn's sister platform, the Mooar NFT marketplace, the Genesis collection represents a significant milestone in Adidas' venture into the crypto and Web3 space. Stepn, known for its move-to-earn (M2E) model, motivates users by rewarding cryptocurrency (GMT tokens) for outdoor walking or running activities. With over 5 million registered users, Stepn previously partnered with Asics in 2022, solidifying its position in the fitness rewards space.
