Globalisation has had a positive impact in creating one marketplace where we can buy and sell goods and services based on the most economical value chains. We have created systems and tools to get buyers and sellers together, however, the effort spent on creating tools and systems for creating transparency across the value chains has been minimal. As a result there are inefficiencies & a risk of exploitation in value chains especially lower down the supply chain.
Most of the products that we buy have a long value chain. This value chain is based on a supply chain model that is most economical for manufacturing the product. These supply chains cross countries and continents and can at times have an informal part which is invisible.
Namahe Ecosystem offers a vision for a new standard that can be used in any industry to bring in transparency and to connect the various elements of the value chain, however far they might be in terms of geography.
Namahe Ecosystem is underpinned by a platform that allows transparent traceability of interactions between different actors in the supply chain;
from the end consumer to the brand marketing the product, to the manufacturers to the end worker who contributed to the parts used in the
end product.
The Namahe platform leverages 4 key technologies to achieve this:
1. Digital Processes: Use of technology to digitise the paper based processes. Use of Mobile Apps and supply chain APIs allow the ‘digital’
actors to partake in the supply chain of the future.
2. Blockchain technology to create a federated network where each node is able to validate and trace the interactions pertaining to itself in a
transparent, verifiable and immutable way. Block chain provides security, traceability, provenance, asset management and tracking.
3. Artificial Intelligence acts as an invisible silently tracking and proactively identifying issues before they happen and suggest mitigations to keep the supply chain running smoothly.
4. Cloud Powered: The platform is built for the cloud with scalable, secure architectures that can be located at multiple locations worldwide.
Our aim is to build an industry leading platform leveraging well established technologies. Namahe platform technology stack is built on
industry leading components, namely Hyperledger, Sawtooth hosted on Amazon Web-Services.
Use of these components also allows us to leverage capabilities such as REST APIs, IOT integrations in the IaaS layer both speeding and derisking
the development time.
IBM Hyperledger is an open source collaborative effort to advance cross-industry blockchain technologies, is hosted by The Linux Foundation®. IBM provides blockchain solutions and services leveraging Hyperledger technologies, including Hyperledger Fabric for building, deploying, and running distributed ledgers. Distributed ledgers provide a digital record (such as asset ownership) that is maintained without a central authority or implementation.
Machine Learning libraries combine fast, scalable machine learning algorithms with the capabilities of the likes of Apache Spark blazingly fast in-memory processing to detect and act on data insight in realtime.
AmazonWebServices provides the broadest and deepest capabilities and the largest global infrastructure for building end-to-end blockchain platforms, cost efficiently and at scale.

The project’s key differences from its competitors are its social orientation, the protection of women’s and children’s rights, the existence of agreements with NGOs and the use of AI technologies for improving effectiveness and security.
The documentation enables a comprehensive view of the project, which is described in sufficient detail.
The team are planning to launch an ambassador program.
Tokens do not affect the distribution of shares in the company. The incentive system is built in such way that it is more profitable to buy tokens in advance. The team’s and reserve tokens will be unlocked a year after the ICO.
According to the team, the project has already prepared a marketing campaign to help recruit partners and customers to the platform.
Not all team members have indicated an affiliation with the project. The team is international, and also has the following specialists: A data scientist, RFID, IOT & Wireless Specialist, Marketing Specialist, Web Designer, Community Manager, Social Media Specialist and a Quality Control Specialist.
Based on the data available, we can make a conclusion that users are just starting to get interested in the project. The team conducts an advertising campaign on Twitter and Facebook, communicates with users on Telegram and there are also media publications and awards. In February, the number of visits had increased by 3651 people
