Irbis Network is autonomous. It will help develop decentralized communication among people around the world. Subscribers will receive data confidentiality, fair tariffs, and no blocking by providers. Telecom service providers will be able to sell traffic to subscribers. And the owners of the nodes (community members) will profit from the operation of their gateways, ensuring uninterrupted communication for subscribers. We strive to ensure that funds do not end up in the pockets of monopolists but are distributed among the community and everyone actively participated in the development of this network.
The IBS token will be the cryptocurrency of this ecosystem and will constantly circulate between all participants in this blockchain.
First of all, all our current products will be transferred to this network, which network participants will be able to use and spend IBS tokens to pay for communication services; in parallel, an API will be developed for the integration of third-party telecom products.
Please tell us about the founding teams' background as well as any relevant experiences?
Our company has been on the market since 2014 and for the last 7 years, we have been developing high-performance telecommunication solutions for secure communication. General experience in the telecommunication environment for more than 15 years.
What is the biggest problem that you are trying to solve and why solving this problem matters to you?
We have invested over 50,000 hours in telecommunications vulnerability research and are launching secure communications products that are free of these vulnerabilities. We also often encountered a problem when subscriber data is transferred to third parties (without their knowledge). Telecom operators are cashing in on subscribers and charge large bills for communications.
We are working to ensure that blockchain solves these problems and telecommunications become open and accessible to the masses of people, we strive to remove the borders that mobile operators have created and eliminated the oligopoly in the telecommunications market. Therefore, our task is to create an Irbis Network blockchain for telecom. In which any subscriber will feel safe, store his billing in a decentralized environment, and will know that he will not be deceived by operators. Operators will be able to connect to this blockchain, upload their tariffs to the network and they will be the same for all subscribers. Community members, on which the entire network will operate and maintain, will be able to earn on their nodes (routers) and ensure the operation of the entire blockchain. Payment for calls will be distributed from the subscriber to the traffic provider, after each call, and there will be no need to wait a lot of time, make expensive transfers, and our nodes (community members) will provide this opportunity for them. We want the Irbis Network to grow without us, and for people to have the opportunity to have private conversations in a secure environment.
How decentralized is your project and why is decentralization or blockchain essential to the success of this project? Will a centralized solution solve this problem just as well?
Our products now run on centralized servers around the world. We cannot call this decentralization, because We believe that the entire ecosystem should not work on one company. The blockchain community will provide an opportunity to raise nodes around the world and provide users with communication everywhere and build healthy competition among traffic providers. A smart algorithm will be created that will select the correct node, route the call through the optimal provider (by price, traffic quality, and overall rating) and monitor the distribution of tokens for the completed conversation. Nodes will receive a user service fee.
