Felix Maradiaga

Félix joined Pioneer, a private investment company with offices in New York City and Houston, in July 2012. He has been Managing Director and Head of Business Development for Central America and currently Advisory Director and Senior Advisor for Central America. Prior to joining Pioneer, Felix was Senior Vice-president for Strategy and Business Development at Grupo Coen, a strategic management consultant for Management Systems International (MSI is a US-based international development firm) and the former Secretary General of the Ministry of Defense of Nicaragua. Felix is also a pro-bono Board Member of the Yale World Fellows Program at Yale University, The Civil Society Leadership Institute, the Nicaraguan Forum for Education (Eduquemos) and the founder and president of "Fundación Libertad", a civic organization based in Managua. Félix is a former Yale World Fellow at Yale University and is currently a Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum (http://www.weforum.org).
