In this 2.5hr hands on course, you will learn how to buy your first piece of digital currency, and how to secure your new accounts. You are your own bank, make sure your safe is locked.
This is a beginner level hands on course designed to teach you how to buy your first piece of crypto currency, navigate the crypto ecosystem securely, transfer it to your own privately controlled wallet, and secure your accounts with strong passwords. For those with little to no experience with Bitcoin and digital currencies looking to make their first purchase and enter the market.
Education on cyber account security to avoid possible scams and what to look out for in this new financial space to stay secure.

You will need to bring the following:
Cell phone
Laptop
Notebook and Pen
Credit Card to purchase from Coinbase
Access to your online banking account to verify your first Coinbase purchase
USB key to back up your password database
Please take some time to think of two strong, unique passwords. One will be used to open your KeePass secure password database, and one will be used to access Coinbase on your phone. These passwords must be at least 8 characters (Recommend 12+) and contain letters, numbers and at least one special character (! / \ $ _ -). Your KeePass password MUST be unique and unused for any other account to maintain best security!
