Blockchain is currently driven by a $300 billion USD crypto economy. Blockchain fundamentally changes the way we achieve data transparency, quality, and assurance. Terence speaks on the coming transformation and its anticipated impact to enterprise data systems. This presentation will delve into the evolution of the crypto economy, the mechanisms of data transparency, and integration points with the enterprise. It will also describe significant opportunities that the blockchain will bring in areas of infrastructure, big data, artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Terence Chia

Terence is an enterprise architect and innovator with deep experience in information management. He has participated in the growth trends of the internet, social media and the blockchain and speaks widely on how the blockchain will transform the enterprise. At work, Terence designs and transforms complex enterprise systems. At rest, he encourages startup growth, open technologies and engages with hackathons. Terence expects that blockchain technologies will help de-couple, simplify and efficiently reward the effective development of next generation information systems. He leads Cryptiq (a blockchain company) and is on the committee of the Crypto Council of Australia, the peak professional body for crypto skills development.
