The 2018 Toronto Blockchain Impact Investment Summit, is taking place on September 27- 28, 2018 at the Downtown Hilton Hotel in Toronto, during Toronto Angel Investment Week from September 24 – 28 and including the 2018 World Angel Investment Summit from September 25 - 27.

The Blockchain Impact Investment Summit will be hosted by Miller Thomson LLP, one of the leading law firms in Canada and the Blockchain Impact Institute and co-organized by DoGood Media LLC from New York, linkcoin and Diamond Chain from Toronto, iBank Digital from Vancouver and FinTech4Good from Washington. Toronto Angel Investment Week and the World Angel Investor Summit is expected to attract over 700 investors, partners and industry leaders from around the world and is the flagship event for the Canadian Angel Investor community. The 2018 event will be the first ever NACO Summit to be hosted in Toronto. This summit is the culmination of years of NACO’s efforts to build Angel communities across the country and will catalyze a more dynamic early stage capital ecosystem in the global markets.

The Blockchain Impact Investment Summit 2018 is expected to also attract over 500 investors, partners and Blockchain industry leaders from around the world following the success of the Vancouver edition in June 2018. Our goal is to bring together key players working in diverse fields to engage and discuss the future trends of blockchain technology and showcase companies who are using this technology to disrupt industries and continuously innovate. We believe that our summit will be a platform for blockchain industry leaders to meet up and exchange ideas and attendees will gain valuable insight and information about the state of blockchain technology and the token economy.

Keynote Speakers:

We are very fortunate to also have the support and participation of renowned venture capitalist and founding partner of Draper Associates and DJF, Tim Draper as keynote speaker (via livestream). Tim has a very long history in digital technology venture capital investments and has been a very strong proponent of Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies and the adoption of blockchain technology.

We will also be joined by keynote speaker, Feng Han, Co-founder of the Elastos Foundation and one of the most sought-after speakers on Blockchain and the New Intelligent Economy. He has penned numerous papers on Blockchain Technology and is also a visiting scholar at Columbia University and the Huawei Research Center.

Other keynote speakers include, Mr. Chandler Guo of BitAngel. Chandler is the founder of the Bitangel Fund, an angel investment fund specializing in Bitcoin and Blockchain and the partner of Fcoin Exchange. He is known as one of the Bitcoin pioneers and experts in China.

Michael Conn, CEO of Ether Capital is the founder and managing partner of Quail Creek Partners. He previously served in the senior management of global asset management giants TCW and Alliance Bernstein.

XiaoChen Zhang is the president of Fintech4Good and the Blockchain Frontier Group and works with startups, industry leaders and investors to develop fintech applications with a positive social benefit.

It is expected that additional speakers and sponsors will be added prior to the event due to tremendous interest and demand. More than 20 blockchain companies are scheduled to present at this important event.
