Claru is a new technology company focused on improving traceability and transparency within the food supply chain using new and emerging technologies. The Cork-based team is focused primarily on identifying key business challenges within the Irish Dairy sector such as 100% Grass-Fed and GM-Free and determining technical solutions to address the same.

About Claru

Claru’s intent is to use existing data collection mechanisms from the dairy production process to feed supply chain data on to a Blockchain platform. From here, a holistic view of the dairy products provenance will be made accessible to the consumer using mobile web technology. To date, the team has built a number of working prototypes using production data to successfully validate the approach.
