Using the Circles browser extension, content creators will be able to link their social media account to enable a brand-new form of digital content appreciation built for Web 3.0. Fans can circulate content they enjoy with their circles tokens while also supporting its creator. What problem does Circles solve? Monetization models for content on social media are broken. Third-party intermediaries take as much as 45% out of creatives revenue. We are creating a browser-extension that will allow interfacing with Youtube where users can pay creators while also earning from their success. Introducing Circulation Fans who are using the Circles decentralized application can “circulate” content they enjoy with their circles tokens while also supporting its creator. Circles tokens that are sent when circulating content are sent to a smart contract on the blockchain that distributes the value into two pools. A content creator pool. And a circulator pay-out pool. 90% will go towards the creator, while 10% is used to provide an interest generating system to incentivize fans to circulate and support new content they believe has the potential to go viral. If the content that was circulated begins to receive more circulation, early circulators may receive a substantial reward back from the payout pool.
