BlockCart is an open, permissionless, e-commerce enabler powered by the blockchain, with a vision toward establishing a trustless e-commerce framework where data can be openly shared for seamless consumer experiences.
BlockCart utilises blockchain technology to share consumer data securely and transparently. We give end users ownership of their valuable data that can be transacted with data consumers through a secure open-source decentralised network.
Currently, a wealth of data that consumers willingly submit on multiple e-commerce sites remains completely siloed. There is currently no elegant solution for end users to mobilise their data, data miners still rely on guesswork or limited resources to analyse user preferences, and the process can be time-consuming and expensive to sustain. AI models on one hand are facing a problem whereby they cannot progress without large amounts of harvested data.
BlockCart aims to bridge this gap for end users and data consumers through a Block Commerce Initiative (BCI), an e-commerce powered by blockchain as a definite solution to security and data sensitivity. An unprecedented ecosystem that brings together end users, merchants, e-commerce stores and data consumers.
