About Bamboo

Bamboo is a blockchain-based ecosystem empowered with IoT and AI mechanisms whose aim is to eliminate the health protection gap in the ASEAN healthcare & insurance system. Having emerged on the market in 2005 and known as Archipelago, the company acted as an international insurance intermediary house. Already in 2012, they established an ASEAN footprint. With such an impressive background, six years later, Archipelago launched a blockchain project, Bamboo. Bamboo and the newly assembled team started preparing for a real technological revolution of the ASEAN insurance system. Their annual achievement was obtaining $5 million in cash flow. Private Sale begins. Development on the app starts with the physical health monitoring and food adulteration module.

2019 September

More features are added to the health app., such as connecting with hospitals, pharmacies, and pathology resources.

2019 October

Launch of Bamboo wallet which includes free insurance and Alpha release.

2019 November

Pre-sale begins. Blockchain technology is integrated to solve relevant inputs, build more modules for AI, fraud detection, image processing, prescriptions and reports.

2019 December

Development buffer is finished and previous modules are refined.

2020

Rapid R&D.

2020 February

Public Sale begins. More critical modules are added to the app: Charts, settlements, and farm to fork tracing modules.

BMBU Token Listing. Bamboo v2 DAPPS are launched.

As a team member, сan you tell us about your role in the ICO project?

I am the Marketing Advisor for Bamboo. My main goal is to introduce Bamboo project to the world by positioning Bamboo at important events (such as the UN, in front of government and non-governement organizations, investor events, and blockchain events) and keeping the public up to date with the progress of the Bamboo project through Social Media, Blog, and PR.

What do you think about idea?

I support the Bamboo vision to offer health insurance to everyone, at low/no cost. I also feel comfortable working on the Bamboo project because their mission is aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals 3.8.1 - 3.8.2, they already have 25 partners, and most importantly they are backed by a successful company (Archipelago Group, which is well funded business that has generated a total revenue of USD205.7 Million in the past 5 years, USD 20 Billion of Total Sums Insured Managed over the last 5 years, and has over 2 million customers which Bamboo has access to). Only a HANDFUL of all blockchain startups have such strong team and ecosystems behind them, so this is reassuring.
