CoinAgenda (www.coinagenda.com), the premier event series for connecting blockchain and cryptocurrency investors with investment opportunities since 2014, has announced its fifth annual CoinAgenda Global conference, taking place at Mandalay Bay, one of the leading five-star luxury resorts on the Las Vegas Strip, October 23-25.  The three-day event will feature many of the world’s leading cryptocurrency investors and entrepreneurs from around the world, with a special focus on the continuing expansion of both initial coin offerings (ICOs), which passed $11 billion in crowdsale funding so far this year, building upon a record 2017, and security token offerings (STOs).

Leading experts in digital currency funding world will also take the stage, including Liam Robertson, managing director of the $400 million Alphabit Fund; Jeremy Gardner, co-founder of Ausum Ventures and of top 50 public token, Augur; Science Blockchain CEO Mike Jones; and super-angel Gil Penchina, looking at bitcoin price dynamics, digital currency funds, family offices, and a startup competition highlighting up to 50 startups and token companies, many of them just prior to their ICO.  

CoinAgenda Startup/ICO Competition contestants have produced more than $600 million in funding and $15 billion in peak market capitalization in the past 24 months alone. Any pre-ICO startup, private blockchain, or public blockchain under $200 million market capitalization can submit to participate in the contest by emailing startupcontest@coinagenda.com.  There is an exhibition fee to participate in the contest, which includes a presentation on stage, two full conference passes and a booth at the conference. The top five winners for startups/ICOs and top three winners for public blockchains each receive an array of prizes and industry recognition. Deadline for entry is October 9 or when the cap of 50 startup/ICO companies and 25 public blockchain tokens is reached.  

Top Keynotes, Fireside Chats and Power Panels Explore Blockchain’s Future with Wall Street and Enterprise

CoinAgenda is the oldest and most prominent high-end conference in the blockchain world, and it takes on the topics of tomorrow before they make the headlines. Day One, Tuesday, October 23, will focus on blockchain incubators, crypto exchanges, and the state of the international regulation, from Wyoming to Switzerland to Singapore. Jeremy Gardner, who also co-founded the Blockchain Education Network while he was still a student at the University of Michigan, will be part of a fireside chat and panel on “Generation Blockchain” moderated by fintech journalist, Martine Paris. There will also be an exchanges panel; keynotes and panels on new infrastructure paradigms; and a fireside chat with Mike Jones, former MySpace CEO and founder/CEO of the Science and Science Blockchain incubators. The day ends with a takeover of the exclusive Moorea Beach Club for the gala opening cocktail party.

Day Two, Wednesday, October 24, features keynotes, fireside chats and panels on the continuing growth and performance of digital currency funds, with more than $1 billion of assets under management represented on the stage throughout the day, as well as panels on international blockchain investing trends and on family offices investing in cryptocurrency. Former NASDAQ managing director of strategy, Enzo Villani, current managing director of Transform Strategies, will head up a panel on the latest breakthrough developments in security tokens, while VideoCoin founder Halsey Minor (co-founder of CNET, Salesforce and Google Voice) will discuss why he feels 2019 is the year that the enterprise will embrace blockchain technologies, dramatically growing the sector. The initial company presentations and public blockchain contest will also take place on Wednesday afternoon. The day ends with the famed CoinAgenda “Legendary Dinner” at an iconic off-Strip celebrity mansion.

Day Three, Thursday, October 25, is ICO Day, devoted to an ICO Bootcamp on obtaining the know-how and relationships required to navigate the ever-changing legal and regulatory landscape, as well as investor panels and 50 ICO presentations. The day wraps up with a four-hour closing party at another iconic, off-Strip Las Vegas mansion.
