Welcome, LinkedIn visitor!
I'm a programmer turned to the dark side (I went to law school and became a lawyer). Then turned entrepreneur and investor.
I had a chance to work and travel in 54 countries, working with startups of every kind: from telecom to online banking and energy trading, to very traditional business such as solar panels (China), steel (India), motorbike (Thailand), and many more.
AN UNUSUAL JOURNEY
I'm employee no. 8 of Wind, a telecom startup company sold for €12.1 billion ($15.6B). In this company, I've learned that launching a startup is exciting and that I'm very good at it. I've also learned that I can be a very bad and unhappy employee when the startup grows into a traditional company. This was confirmed by my following experience. Lesson learned, thanks!
I spent 2005-2009 as a digital nomad, helping companies to expand to Europe.
From 2011, I mentor and invest time and money into startups, mostly early stage. I am a Fintech and ICO advisor and investor, and I enjoy public speaking, writing, and teaching. I am building Startuphome a co-living for young entrepreneurs. See you there!
