Bitcoin Baden 2025: Switzerland’s Top Bitcoin-Only Conference

Bitcoin Baden 2025 is a friendly, community-run Bitcoin event taking place in the historic town of Baden, Switzerland. What began as a small Threema chat group has grown into one of Switzerland’s most welcoming Bitcoin-only gatherings. The goal is simple: to help people understand how Bitcoin works, why it matters, and what makes it unique. The 2024 edition brought together a vibrant mix of beginners, experts, and enthusiasts eager to learn and share knowledge.

The conference features talks and workshops led by both local and international Bitcoin experts. In 2024, speakers included Phil Lojacono (Berglinde), Roland Stadler (BitBox), Severin Bühler (Lightning Network engineer), Thomas Jacob (Libertarian Pioneer), Ronnie Grob (Schweizer Monat), and Prof. Dr. Dirk Niepelt (University of Bern). Attendees also joined hands-on workshops covering Bitcoin basics, the Lightning Network, and wallet creation.

Supported by partners like PocketBitcoin, BitBox, and Bitcoin Association Switzerland, the event combines education with community. Exhibitors bring Bitcoin products and services — including coffee paid in sats — making it fun and interactive. With affordable tickets (CHF 54), Bitcoin Baden 2025 is open to everyone, from curious newcomers to seasoned Bitcoiners. Expect workshops, talks, exhibitors, and plenty of networking in a welcoming atmosphere.
