The internationalization process finds its best expression in the double degrees, which are second-degree courses that permit to obtain two University degrees. This opportunity concerns in particular the second-degree course in Biology, run in agreement with the ancient University of Coimbra, Portugal, and the second-degree in Economics and Management with the Gdansk School of Banking in Poland. Another national record concerns the increased presence of University spin-offs, created on the initiative of young graduates and researchers. These companies, specialized, among other things, in remote control systems, biomedical instruments and clinical engineering services, use patents or skills gained within the research groups.
