Über Solayer Labs

Solayer is a decentralized restaking protocol designed to enhance the security and scalability of the Solana blockchain. By enabling users to restake SOL and liquid staking tokens, Solayer extends Solana's security to decentralized applications (dApps) and other networks.

The core of Solayer's functionality is the restaking mechanism, where users deposit SOL or liquid staking tokens to receive sSOL, Solayer's native token. These sSOL tokens can then be delegated to Actively Validated Services (AVSs), which include various dApps and infrastructure services within the Solana ecosystem. This delegation process enhances the security and performance of these services by leveraging the economic security of the Solana network.

Solayer introduces a shared validator network, allowing multiple applications to utilize a common set of validators. This approach reduces the need for each application to establish its own validator set, leading to more efficient resource utilization and improved scalability.

The protocol also incorporates decentralized governance through the LAYER token. Holders of LAYER tokens can participate in decision-making processes, influencing the development and direction of the Solayer ecosystem.

In addition to its core features, Solayer has launched sBridge, a high-performance interoperability solution for SVM networks, facilitating seamless communication between different blockchain networks.

Through these innovations, Solayer aims to provide a robust infrastructure that supports the growth and scalability of decentralized applications on the Solana blockchain.
