The aims of the association are:
- Promote and spread the use of agile methodologies in Spanish companies, research centers and universities.
- Encourage research and development in these methodologies, especially in software development and consulting, to contribute to the business and personal growth of its members.
- Create synergies among members by sharing knowledge and experiences.
- Serve as a platform for the realization of cooperative projects among members.
- To this end, the association, in collaboration with other organizations and companies, organizes events for its members and, in general, for the IT and technology consulting industry, with the objectives of exchanging experiences on agile methodologies, making contacts with other professionals in the sector and examining the latest trends from the most representative figures on the national and international scene.
Some examples of the events organized are: face-to-face meetings of local groups in different Spanish cities, seminars, conferences, open spaces, programming challenges, etc.
