About Alex Sicart
At age 13 he built a digital platform for students. At 17 the Spaniard is CTO of Sharge, a sharing-economy platform of charging-stations for electric car users that's partnered with Audi. The startup's peer-to-peer network allows people to rent out charging stations in their own homes.
Right now I am working in a new project called FileNation.
With FileNation you can easily send your files around the World using a new P2P technology called IPFS (InterPlanetary File System).
Our team is made up of 3 founders:
- Pol Baladas: founder of Seleactivitat.cat, winner of several hackhaton awards and Data Science student at UPC
- Joan Viladomat: Spain Country Manager at Landing.jobs, founder of Parkinghood and member of Ouishare
- Alex Sicart: former CTO at Sharge, TED Speaker and Forbes 30 under 30
FileNation is quite young but we already have some interesting achievements:
- Launch of the first functional version of our Product (MVP)
- First position in the Ranking of HackerNews (one of the most prestigious sites about technology)
- More than 600 stars in GitHub showing the interest of the tech community
Awarded by Forbes as one of Europe’s most promising young game-changers.
