International Life Science Business Development. I help build and invest in synthetic biology life science teams. I have done this as an iGEMer, as an entrepreneur and as a seed stage accelerator and investor. My ambition is to grow in this function and scale up the positive impact of synthetic biology and biobusiness based solutions globally. Professionally I'm skilled in marketing, valuations, analysis, strategy and innovation. I am well suited to roles in; new business creation, market analysis, internal consulting, stakeholder management, project management, business development and sales. Personally I'm motivated to improve environmental conditions, increase university technology transfer commercialisation and to drive innovation through new businesses. I enjoy working with passionate, skilled colleagues from diverse backgrounds in transparent and inclusive workplaces where there is a high value placed on personal development. In my free time I enjoy exploring the outdoors either hiking, kayaking, cycling or climbing. Intellectually I am engaged in reading up on popular psychology, business strategy and tech journals.
