WyoHackathon Registration Now Open to Developers

Applications now are being accepted for a groundbreaking technology event hosted by the University of Wyoming in September. 

The “WyoHackathon 2018: Breakin’ Through” will take place Sept. 7-9 at the UW War Memorial Fieldhouse. Organizers will open registration for up to 400, and participation in the hackathon will be limited to technologists only. All applicants with experience in development, design or product will be considered, but they must provide a brief description of related experience when registering. Volunteer engineers will respond after reviewing the application. The event is expected to feature more than $50,000 in prize money.

Those interested are required to pre-register for the event on the WyoHackathon 2018 page at www.uwyo.edu/hackathon. No registration at the door will be offered. The registration deadline is Sept. 5 at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time.

Judges for the event include Tony Rose (Airwaze.io), James Glasscock (DNA Fund) and Kurt Wedgewood of IBM.  Judging criteria includes blockchain distruption and project design, ethereum development, and exploring concepts that are currently being researched.

The general public is welcome to join for the keynote speeches, which begin at 1 p.m. Sept. 9. Confirmed guest speakers Include:
