Memetic is an open source peer to peer proof of stake cryptocurrency, launched in March of 2016.

Memetic is the base for the platform for the ERC20 token PEPE. In 2017 Memetic added 'MasterToads' better known as masternodes, with the addition of MasterToads it further ensures the security of the network, these nodes will also provide incentive for investors to hold Memetic long term. Memetic can be found on exchanges listed under the ticker MEME.

Pepecoin (PEPE) is a token that is on the ETH blockchain (ERC20) it is an L2 (Layer 2) to the Memetic (MEME) blockchain, the first memecoin and pepecoin of its time being created in 2016.
