MADANA

Madana is an open data analysis platform that empowers everyone to participate in the data market with their own data as they simultaneously preserve their privacy. Being a blockchain-based ecosystem, MADANA allows everyone to remain in control of their data as they monetize it anonymously. It provides a GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) compliant means of data processing.

PROS

1. MADAN allows data producers to publish all forms of data to the ecosystem thus participating in the data market and monetize their data without compromising their privacy
2. The platform token (PAX token) enables everyone to purchase data analysis results from a centralized pool of information fairly rewarding all stakeholders for their contribution.
3. It rewards data owners directly through the underlying smart contract and as such eliminates middlemen and third parties.
4. MADANA utilizes modern technologies and intelligently blends them into a new platform that enables different apps and scenarios in data-driven industries.
5. It gives small enterprises (who currently have limited or no access) access to the data market enabling them to buy specific analysis results to take their businesses to the next level.
6. The ecosystem adopts a long-term oriented approach and incorporates key partnerships in conventional industries and consulting firms for technological differentiation.
7. The whitepaper besides using simple language that is easy to understand presents the concept in a clear and logical way.

CONS

1. There is no mention of the team members in the whitepaper.
2. The platform does not categorically state whether the system token is compatible with fiat currency.
3. The platform does not clearly outline how it intends to source funds, the amounts it expects to get and how the same will be utilized.

SUGGESTIONS

1. A list of team members complete with the description of their suitability for the various positions should be included in the whitepaper.
2. The whitepaper should categorically state if PAX token is compatible with fiat currency and give the exchange rate.
3. The concept appears to still need some polishing especially around fund sourcing and the planned distribution of the proceeds.

NOTE:

MADANA is a great concept with a potential to gain traction. However, the absence of finer details may deter potential clients. I would want to be part of a platform that has clear roadmap (with figures) on how to source and eventually use funds. So, I will not invest in it as it is.
