DAO Suisse is Switzerland's leading community and resource for Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs). Established in June 2023, the association aims to position Switzerland as a global hub for DAOs by fostering innovation, promoting knowledge transfer between industry and academia, and advocating for clear regulations to protect DAO founders and participants.
The association brings together over 60 members, including DAOs, universities, law firms, start-ups, and individuals, united by a common mission to advance decentralized governance systems. Through active working groups, DAO Suisse addresses key topics such as legal and tax considerations, organizational structures, tooling and technology, and support for DAO founders.
One of the association's flagship events is the annual DAO Symposium, which serves as a platform to discuss the latest developments in the DAO space. The symposium features speakers from leading organizations and provides opportunities for networking and collaboration among DAO enthusiasts.
DAO Suisse offers various membership tiers, providing members with access to resources, tools, community and networking opportunities, visibility and branding, event participation, and a voice in association governance. Membership is open to individuals, new and established DAOs, universities, blockchain infrastructure providers, boutique agencies, law firms, non-profits, and brands interested in exploring decentralized governance models.
