The Nektar Network is thrilled to announce the commencement of Epoch 1 for Nektar Drops, marking the beginning of a new chapter in community engagement within the Nektar ecosystem. Starting today, May 1, 2024, participants will have the chance to earn Nektar Drops by actively participating in various initiatives aimed at fostering community involvement and contribution.

Epoch 1 is dedicated to recognizing and rewarding the contributions of community members through daily Nektar Drops, which can be earned by engaging in predefined activities within the Nektar ecosystem. This epoch is set to conclude on June 1, 2024, or when the network reaches a total value locked (TVL) of 250,000 ETH, whichever comes first.

Participants in Epoch 1 will have the opportunity to earn Nektar Drops by participating in a range of pre-launch initiatives, including Enzyme vaults, Reserve bsdETH initiatives, Sommelier vaults, and more. For each ETH deposited in these initiatives on the Ethereum mainnet, members will receive Nektar Drops daily, with varying reward structures depending on the specific initiative.

Here's a breakdown of the Nektar Drops allocation per day for ETH deposited across different initiatives:

- 25 points/ETH deposited on Enzyme and Sommelier

- 20 points/ETH deposited on Reserve, Beefy, Aerodrome, and Extra Fi

Additionally, the allocation of retroactive Nektar Drops has been revised, with significant increases in drops distributed to Goerli and Holesky testnet operators, along with a 10x increase across all other participant categories to better acknowledge their activities and contributions.

Furthermore, participants can look forward to the introduction of referral rewards later during Epoch 1, pending final technical enhancements made in partnership with the Fuul team to ensure seamless integration into the existing reward structure.
