Whip Season brings together an expert team looking to assemble the most desirable car collector project on Web3. Built around an initial drop of 10,000 unique Genesis-Series NFTs offered on the Ethereum blockchain, the project unites design, style, technology and community, and sets up our WHIP NFT's as a very special collecting opportunity.

What exactly is Whip Season (WS)? It’s an online NFT-backed drag racing game that allows you to compete for fabulous prizes. With one lucky NFT-minter walking away with the grand prize of 25 Eth!That’s just the beginning. The WS platform will provide you with all the tools you need to build and customize your dream ride. Apart from having the chance to participate in exciting races, the community will have the privilege to help design race tracks and new vehicles.

Q1 - 2022

NFT Card Collection
Ten thousand genesis cars of 6+ different rarities, assembled from 10 base 3D models featuring unique paint colors, graphics, materials, camera views, backgrounds, overlays, trim levels, aerodynamic components, and various wheel/tire combinations, masterfully crafted by our vehicle visionary Scott Robertson.

Airdrops
WHIP NFT holders will be airdropped rewards for being a part of the community; current planned frequency is bi-weekly. What sort of Airdrops you ask? Well, it turns out there were some special unrevealed WHIPs in our first drop. Perhaps there will be some clues on our Discord or Twitter about how to obtain the hidden WHIPs, or maybe you will have already obtained them and you just didn't know it yet. Let the collectable card games begin!

Q2 - 2022

Refinement and Delivery
In order to import our models into existing metaverses and arcade-style games, they will need to be prepared for a variety of platforms. The Sandbox has wildly different model requirements than an Arcade-style game for instance. We will prepare/polish the models for AR optimization, metaverse interoperability, and owner access. That's right, with a Whip Season NFT you will be able to unlock version of the 3D car model for as many experience opporunities as we can create!

Q2 - 2022

Collaborations
Since all of our WHIPs begin life as 3D digital models, we have the option to import and modify these models in a variety of places, potentially giving our community access to existing platforms. We will strive to generate partner collaborations with metaverses like Sandbox, Decentraland or Nanopass for instance as well as arcade-style racing games like those launching soon CryptoMotors and others allowing 3D model imports. The landscape is changing rapidly in this space so it is difficult to predict how it will look by the time we are ready to enter this phase, but we have some strong indications that our models will be very desirable assets to many existing or up-and-coming platforms.

Beyond
We have been in talks with some amazing designers about a couple of different secondary digital assets in the 3D space to go along with your WHIP, and one of them may even have a very limited physical drop; more details here once confirmed. We are also exploring some AR concepts for your WHIP and will be looking for community feedback on this direction.

Will there be a game?
Lots of people try to create games, but not many actually succeed. Something like 80% of gaming projects fail as it's a large undertaking fraught with perils. While our team does have the background and connections to take this on, we also know better than to guarantee a Triple-A rated console/PC competitor. We will look to leverage existing tech and partnership opportunities as much as possible while attempting to also create something fun, and more importantly, done right for (and alongside) the community.
