The 3rd Annual Global Blockchain Congress is the only event in the MENA region to explore the opportunities and challenges of investing in digital currencies and assets.

The global market for blockchain was estimated at $708 million in 2017. It is anticipated to reach $60.7 billion in 2024. Worldwide markets are poised to achieve continuing growth as blockchain proves its value by managing digital transactions in real time across enterprise boundaries, encouraging collaborative business efforts. Lowering transaction management costs is a key benefit. After its inauspicious beginning, it is on the cusp of phenomenal growth, ready to reach $60 billion worldwide as it creates new digital economic infrastructure.

Dubai is at the heart of the blockchain phenomenon. The Dubai Blockchain Strategy, launched by His Highness Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan, was the result of collaboration between the Smart Dubai Office and the Dubai Future Foundation with the mission to continuously explore and evaluate the latest technology innovations in an effort to further improve the lifestyle of the city’s residents.

The 3rd Annual Global Blockchain Congress, aims to significantly contribute to the advancement of blockchain technology in the Arab World by providing a unique platform that will connect, via pre-arranged one-to-one meetings, between buyers and vendors, as well as ICO's/STO's and Investors of blockchain technology

It is the only event of its kind and it will bring together corporate buyers and investors of Blockchain technology products and solutions from the MENA region, to meet with pre-selected solution providers & ICO's from all over the world. The strategy’s aim is to give an economic edge to all sectors and position Dubai as a leader in global technology.

Objectives of the congress:

Create a very exclusive platform for the UAE to showcase its leadership position in adapting and implementing state-of-the-art technological solutions that help deliver better outcome for its population. This platform will also help benchmark the UAE against best-of-class technologies used worldwide.

To introduce the latest trends in disruptive blockchain technologies to decision makers in the GCC and the Arab World. In addition to the conference program, we have a B to B segment of the congress focused on pre-arranged one to one meetings between solution providers of blockchain technologies and corporate buyers of these technologies and solutions.

To facilitate investments into the blockchain segment of the UAE. We want to introduce investment opportunities in blockchain technologies to Emirati investors. This is also to be done through pre-arranged one to one meetings between investors and pre-qualified start-ups and ICO's/STO's looking to raise capital.
