This year the Island of Jersey plays host to a full week of exciting and innovative tech events running from 13th to 19th October 2018 to showcase and celebrate the best of tech whilst providing networking, learning, business and social opportunities.
A full day IoT themed day held at the Radisson hotel. Speakers and participants will examine how technology will increasingly disrupt our daily lives.
Our IoT Day will look at how Jersey could position itself in order to grasp the opportunities afforded by fourth industrial revolution.
As one of the best-connected places on the planet, Jersey is in a unique position to explore the impacts of increasing digitisation on society and the economy. A focus on data resulting from our unrivalled connectivity presents an opportunity for Jersey to build a physical, economic and social Digital Twin of the island. An island Digital Twin would enable public and private entities to combine data for scenario planning leading to more informed decision making and public consultation, as well as paving the way for future data-intensive businesses.
