Play-and-Earn game The Red Village has partnered with one of the top game studios globally, Animoca Brands’ subsidiary Blowfish Studios, to build the first dark-fantasy game on the blockchain.

The Red Village is the most highly anticipated NFT-based multiplayer fighting tournament on the blockchain.

The Red Village is a success story of blockchain-gaming, with two sold out NFT sales in late 2021 and early 2022 generating more than 1,100 ETH, and trading more than 3,000 ETH on secondary. The Red Village Tournament mode is currently live in playable beta and and players have already won over $500,000USD. As the first dark-fantasy game on the blockchain, The Red Village is aiming to bridge the gap between traditional gamers and the metaverse through deep lore, immersive storylines and an active and engaged community. The Red Village: Darklands is under development by Animoca Brands’ Blowfish Studios.

The Red Village is an NFT based play-to-earn multiplayer game. It begins with an intricately created collection of formidable warriors. There are five classes of Champion in The Red Village; the Barbarian, Wizard, Druid, Ranger, and Paladin. Each Champion is completely unique with its own distinct name, skills, attributes, and characteristics. There will only ever be 28,000 of these Pureblood Champions in The Red Village ecosystem spanning across four distinct Bloodlines; Genesis (R1-R3 genotype), Mystic (R4-6), Warlord (R7-R9) and Lionheart (R10-12). Using their fearsome NFT Champions, players can fight for honour and glory in famed Red Village PvP tournaments in front of the malevolent Blood Queen. Victorious players earn real financial rewards, or even their opponent's NFT. Those daring enough can also team up with other NFT communities to wage war in large-scale Faction fights, which take place in custom-built, epic arenas, themed for each community.
