But the community also faces an array of challenges, the biggest one being not getting their due for the exclusive work they do. Picnab has taken up the responsibility to reward the photographer’s efforts, get involved in the community, and help them gain fame and popularity.

It is also a showcasing platform where users and artists can both benefit without diminishing the artwork’s value. Artists can upload their artworks as NFTs and choose to sell them on Picnab’s marketplace.

Digital art can be easily and endlessly duplicated, but non-fungible tokens allow buyers to confirm ownership of their work. By assigning an artwork NFT, its ownership becomes immutable. NFT technology attracts several artists because of its democratizing nature. The ownership of the photograph will then become publicly visible in a ledger with its history - when it was created, who has owned it, who purchased it and so on.
