Stacker Ventures is an inclusive collective of builders, venture capitalists, and degens who collaborate to accelerate promising Web3 concepts.
Structured as a DAO, Stacker Ventures provides frameworks for launching decentralized funds, accelerates portfolio investments through an involved community, and acts as a check and balance on fund management.
The DAO’s first venture fund raised over 2,000 ETH from 300+ contributors in March 2021 and is supporting the launches of PrimeDAO, Agora Space, Onomy Protocol, and other emerging projects from DeFi, GameFi, and beyond.
The $STACK governance token gives its participants the opportunity to forge the path of the DAO, access its network, and claim future rewards from its successes.
$STACK Tokenomics
$STACK token is the governance token that decides the path of the DAO and will grant holders further utility as the project develops, including future DAO venture dividends and early access to incubated projects.
DAO Venture Dividends
In order to reward those who contribute to the Stacker Ventures DAO, the core goal of the $STACK ecosystem is to create ongoing Community Funds that allow token holders to choose the projects that are supported and then claim the future devested tokens.
The cashflow for the Community Fund will come from a portion of the following streams:
At the end of each financial year, the DAO will vote on a) the size of the community investment fund and b) the projects that the fund should support.
De-vested tokens will then be claimable by DAO members proportional to their $STACK holdings following a successful investment and vesting period.
