Who is part of the STRIM team?

The STRIM team was founded by Mihai Ciocan, Radu Alexandru Gină, Andrei Dianu and Radu Nicolae. Their experience in software, cloud computing and networking helps them coordinate the STRIM development and administration team that will consist of around 20 people.

What operating systems will STRIM be compatible with?

TRIM will run natively on Android, iOS, Windows, Mac and Linux.

A browser based version will facilitate quicker user adoption.

What are STR tokens?

STR tokens are the currency used on the STRIM platform. A small amount of tokens is rewarded to users whenever they share data with the network; this amount increases as the said data is accessed by other users. In turn, tokens are used whenever data is retrieved from the network - for example by watching a live video stream.

What is the STR token value?

The STR token value is decided by the market organically, based on offer and demand.

How will the STRIM team drive token price?

In order to drive the token price, the STRIM team is targeting people outside of the crypto community to join the platform. The main concern during development is to keep the platform as easy and intuitive to use as possible. No technical skills should be necessary to participate.

Partnerships with various events around the world, such as music festivals or sporting events, are part of the STRIM video growth plan. Several such quality content streams will help grow the community and thus drive STR token value.

What are the long term plans for STRIM?

STRIM will reach out to online TV and radio stations in order to pitch this new monetization model. This would allow small and medium broadcasters to focus on their content, instead of advertising sales.

During the second development phase, the platform will be pitched to specialized institutions that will use the data for scientific and research purposes, for example by weather organizations. Robots and sensor development is also in the STRIM growth scope - for example by using customised sensors applied to robots to gather data from places inaccessible to humans.
