Pandayield empowers its users in earning passive income through tokens by providing superior tools and features. The users provide liquidity to pools which will result in earning a reward. The reward depends on the user’s stake weight in the pools.

Pandayield tackles traditional finance institutions' centralization by enabling the users to control their own funds and use with the blockchain technology. In that sense, the platform is fully decentralized, permissionless and trustless. The users completely own their funds, identity, and token while earning rewards.

Furthermore, it is a community-centric defi platform. It relies on the AMM system (automated market maker) and community to swap tokens and match orders. The community enhances the platform by detaining its governance through votes.

Defi stands for decentralized finance or open finance. It is an umbrella term to define a variety of decentralized/open financial applications. It precisely refers to automated financial services using smart contracts to enforce agreements without intermediaries such as lawyers and banks. It uses protocols and blockchain technologies to achieve that.

Defi is unique in the way that it is permissionless and trustless.
• Permissionless: anyone can participate in a Defi application. There is no entry barrier, no data needed, no personal information - anyone with a device and an internet connection can participate.
• Trustless: there are absolutely no middlemen and no need for it as the smart contracts act as a trusted party. All terms and conditions are written in a smart contract that is immutable, transparent, and decentralized.

Defi strives for self-sovereign funds where owners don't fear go-betweens when staking, placing, investing, and lending funds. Furthermore, the users don't have to provide any identity documents to be able to use Defi services, which lowers the entry barriers and open financial services to remote areas of the globe.

The Defi services englobe decentralized exchanges (DEX), stablecoins, lending platforms, prediction markets, wrapped bitcoins (WBTC), composability, money legos, yield farming, and liquidity mining.

PROBLEM

DeFi is in its experimental and innovative phases. It means that there is room for improvements and errors. Thus, it could be repulsive for users and especially non-crypto connoisseurs to take part in DeFi.

The blockchain in general and the deFi system, in particular, are hard to understand. It could be daunting for the users to onboard. For the model to be massively adopted, it needs a fast learning curve, completed with a smooth user experience. Those are two requirements that are missing from the model today.

But the deFi model needs liquidity provided by the users—the more users, the more liquidity providers, the stable the model.

Moreover, DeFi is essential in the way that it is borderless. It could enhance people's life by providing a way to earn passive incomes and simply access financial services. The DeFi users won't have to fear intermediaries and centralized institutions that could manipulate the users' funds at their will. However, to reach that point DeFi needs improvements in accessibility and onboarding. Furthermore, DeFi can be risky for those who do not know about finance. There is a need for proper guidance and support.
