The Official Mars Token is the future of DeFi, its made to provide a interplanetary payment solution for a permanent settlement on Mars.
Until the settlement is successful, OMT's goal is to increase the value for its community and to further develop OMT.

As soon as Mars is permanently colonized, the colony needs a functioning payment system, not only within the colony but also between the Mars-colony and the Earth.

Otherwise it would not be possible to purchase goods and services or to send money to the family.

As a decentralized blockchain-based payment system, Official Mars Token is able to process interplanetary payments quickly, securely and inexpensively.

The infrastructure of the Mars colony will undoubtedly have a stable and fast internet connection.

This will ensure that the prerequisites for an immediate implementation of the OMT payment system will be possible.

As long as research and work are still being carried out on the settlement of Mars, the Official Mars Token will be further developed and made available on earth as a decentralized payment system.
