Grayscale Bitcoin Trust provides a secure structure to gain exposure to BTC. Eligible shares are quoted on the OTCQX^®, the top marketplace operated by OTC Markets, and registered pursuant to Section 12(g) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended. Investors can buy and sell shares through most traditional brokerage accounts at prices dictated by the market.

Grayscale Bitcoin Trust is a traditional investment vehicle with shares titled in the investor's name, providing a familiar structure for financial and tax advisors, and easy transferability to beneficiaries under estate laws.

Publicly quoted

Eligible shares of Grayscale Bitcoin Trust are quoted on OTCQX® under the symbol: GBTC, making it possible to buy or sell shares continuously through the trading day at prices established by the market. Robust security and storage Grayscale Bitcoin Trust’s assets are stored in offline or “cold” storage with Coinbase Custody Trust Company, LLC, as Custodian. The Custodian is a fiduciary under § 100 of the New York Banking Law and a qualified custodian for purposes of Rule 206(4)-2(d)(6) under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, as amended.
